Biogas production began in Poltavshchyna at the largest in the region Makukhivka landfill. It is one of the first projects of this kind in Ukraine. This will produce more than 5 million kilowatt-hours per year. Which will save millions of budget hryvnias. And owing to the new technology, the landfill will no longer catch on fire.
