KOROSTEN TPP

LLC "KOROSTEN'SKA TPP" was established in accordance with Protocol No. 1 of the constituent meeting of the founders dated November 13, 2015.

Identification code 41949054 Organizational and legal form - LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY Director - LESNOY VOLODYMYR VIKTOROVYCH, appointed by the general meeting of the Company (protocol No. 22k dated 12/29/2018). The enterprise was established with the aim of building generation facilities that produce electrical energy for its further sale at an appropriate tariff. The enterprise employs experienced specialists in the field of energy with many years of experience in the energy industry.

KORYUKIV TPP

In the context of energy transformation and the growing need for independent and environmentally friendly energy sources, the Koryukiv Thermal Power Plant (TPP) has become one of the successful examples of green energy development in Ukraine. Located in the city of Koryukivka, Chernihiv region, this power plant runs on biomass and demonstrates how local resources can be effectively used for sustainable energy supply.

Features and benefits

  The Koryukivka TPP uses waste from the woodworking industry, including chips, sawdust and branches remaining after logging. This allows local waste to be disposed of without harming the environment and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
• Integrated energy generation
  The plant is cogeneration: it simultaneously produces electricity and heat, which significantly increases the overall efficiency (efficiency coefficient) of the system.
• Providing heat to the city
  The Koryukivska TPP heats social facilities and residential buildings in the city, which reduces the need for gas heating, reducing the financial burden on the local budget.

  Thanks to the operation of the plant, the city has a stable and independent source of energy, which is especially important in conditions of military threats or interruptions in centralized energy supply.

Environmental aspect
Unlike coal or gas TPPs, the Koryukivska power plant does not create hazardous emissions into the atmosphere and does not produce toxic waste. Biomass combustion is considered a carbon-neutral process, since the same amount of CO₂ is released during its combustion that the plants absorbed during growth.
