ABOUT THE COMPANY
Under the Clear Energy Group brand, energy companies that develop projects, build and operate biomass and biogas power plants; manufacture and install their own gas generators are united.
With its activities, Clear Energy Group supports the EU's direction to transform Europe into a climate-neutral part of the world by 2050. In Ukraine, Clear Energy advocates the concept of sustainable development of energy from renewable sources and is the main driver of the topic of greening the economy. Clear Energy companies are already working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and preserve natural ecosystems, thereby protecting the health and well-being of citizens from the negative effects of climate change.
The "green" portfolio of companies producing energy from biomass and biogas at the end of 2020 amounted to 21 MW, and annual electricity production exceeds 91 million kWh.
In Ukraine, Clear Energy companies are the de facto leaders in terms of electricity generation from biogas. Clear Energy’s portfolio includes 15 projects for the degasification of solid waste landfills throughout the country. The company’s flagship project is the degasification of the Odessa landfill “Dalnytskyi Karyery”.
A notable energy project of Clear Energy using biomass, namely wood waste, is the Koryukiv Thermal Power Plant, with a capacity of 4 MW. Another unique project is the Chernihiv Generating Company, where for the first time in Ukraine they used modern industrial technology for gasification of fuel chips based on nationally produced equipment.
The company’s plans for the coming years are to launch 250 MW of “green” capacities throughout Ukraine
